About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Web Developer with at least 1 year of professional development experience.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Core PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML and CSS, along with exposure to Python/Django and REST APIs.

You will work closely with our development team to build, maintain, enhance and troubleshoot web applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance web applications using Core PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Write and optimize MySQL queries and work with relational databases.

Develop interactive web functionality using JavaScript and AJAX.

Build and integrate REST APIs.

Work on backend development using PHP and, where required, Python/Django.

Debug and resolve application issues and production bugs.

Understand existing codebases and implement new features safely.





Perform basic testing and ensure applications work correctly across supported browsers.

Follow coding standards, version-control practices and development guidelines.

Collaborate with senior developers, QA and other team members to deliver projects on time.

Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development practices.

Required Skills

1+ year of qualified experience in web development.

Good knowledge of Core PHP.

Good understanding of MySQL and SQL queries.

Working knowledge of JavaScript and AJAX.

Good understanding of HTML and CSS.

Basic to intermediate knowledge of REST APIs.

Basic understanding or hands-on experience with Python/Django.

Understanding of debugging and troubleshooting techniques.

Familiarity with Git or other version-control systems.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience working with AI/LLM APIs, including integrating AI-powered features into web applications and handling API responses.

Good to Have

Experience working with third-party APIs.

Knowledge of JSON and API authentication.

Understanding of MVC architecture.

Basic knowledge of Linux/server environments.

Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.

Exposure to modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks.
