Job Summary

Junior SDET role in a hybrid work model focusing on building robust automated testing solutions for web applications and services powered by Python Django REST React and modern AI code assist tools. Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable automated test suites using Python Selenium and Playwright to validate web applications and APIs for reliability performance and functional accuracy across multiple environments

- Develop robust test frameworks for Django REST based services that ensure consistent validation of endpoints data flows and business rules supporting travel and airline product features

- Create and maintain comprehensive frontend automation coverage for React and core HTML CSS JS components to ensure stable user experiences and responsive interfaces across supported browsers

- Apply context engineering practices to design intelligent test scenarios that reflect real user journeys travel booking flows and airline operational processes for higher product relevance

- Use AI code assist tools to accelerate test script creation refactoring and review while maintaining high standards of readability maintainability and secure coding practices

- Collaborate with developers and product teams in a hybrid environment to clarify requirements refine acceptance criteria and translate them into detailed automated regression suites

- Execute automated and targeted exploratory tests during day shifts to detect defects early analyze root causes and recommend actionable remediation steps that enhance product stability

- Maintain clear documentation for test plans automation frameworks test data strategies and execution reports to support transparent communication and audit readiness for complex releases





- Optimize test execution pipelines by integrating automation scripts into continuous integration workflows to improve feedback speed deployment confidence and release predictability

- Contribute to quality metrics definition and reporting by tracking automation coverage defect trends and test execution results that demonstrate tangible value to product and engineering stakeholders

- Support recent product development initiatives in travel and airline domains by designing domain aware test data sets and scenarios that mirror realistic itineraries fares and operational constraints

- Coordinate with hybrid distributed teams to ensure that test assets scripts and results are consistently versioned reviewed and aligned with evolving architectural and product roadmaps

- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices by proposing enhancements to automation patterns coding guidelines and quality gates that reduce defects and improve user trust

Qualifications

- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python programming and test automation with hands on experience using Selenium and Playwright for validating complex web applications

- Exhibit solid understanding of Django REST frameworks including testing of APIs authentication flows serialization logic and integration points in service oriented architectures

- Show practical experience with React and core HTML CSS JS technologies to design and validate component behavior user interactions and layout integrity through automated tests

- Apply AI code assist tools effectively in daily work to generate refine and review automation scripts while maintaining a critical focus on accuracy security and performance outcomes

- Bring working knowledge of context engineering concepts to craft meaningful test scenarios that align system behavior with end user expectations and business objectives
