About the role

We're looking for a Junior Motion Graphic Designer with a genuine passion for visual storytelling and strong creative instincts. This is a hands-on role producing high-volume social content for Kickstart Digital, with motion graphics as the top priority. You'll be responsible for transforming conceptual ideas into engaging visual experiences through AI, animation, illustration, motion design, and short-form video that elevate our presence across digital platforms.

Location requirement

This is a full-time, in-office role based in Chennai. Only candidates currently residing in Chennai or willing to relocate at their own expense need apply.

What you'll be doing

- Create and edit high-performing long and short-form videos that simplify data or concepts into scroll-stopping visuals
- Adapt videos across different dimensions and placements (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9) while retaining clarity and performance
- Produce social media content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Turn creative briefs into on-brand, platform-native content across multiple client accounts
- Stay on top of social and motion trends, bringing fresh ideas to the table rather than just executing what's asked

Skills requirement





- 1–2 years of motion graphics and social media experience
- Strong foundation in After Effects (essential), Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop are a plus
- A portfolio showcasing motion work, not just static design
- Strong understanding of platform best practices, formats, and dimension adaptations
- Fast turnaround without sacrificing quality; this is a high-output role
- Adaptable, curious, and self-directed
- Junior-level experience is fine; attitude and creative instinct matter more

Nice to have

- Experience with short-form platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Basic understanding of paid social/performance marketing, since our work feeds into ad campaigns
- 2D/3D animation skills
