Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance team for our Amusement Park, Snow Storm and Resort operations at Athirappilly, Thrissur, Kerala.

The selected candidate will support the Senior Mechanical Engineer and maintenance team in the inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and safe operation of mechanical equipment and systems across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Senior Mechanical Engineer in day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities.
- Conduct routine inspection of mechanical equipment and systems as per prescribed checklists.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Assist in attending mechanical breakdowns and troubleshooting equipment faults.
- Monitor equipment for unusual noise, vibration, overheating, leakage or other abnormalities.
- Assist with servicing, lubrication, alignment and adjustment of mechanical equipment.
- Support maintenance of pumps, compressors, gearboxes, rotating equipment, motors and other mechanical systems, as applicable.
- Assist in maintenance of mechanical equipment associated with amusement-park and Snow Storm operations.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, MEP and Operations teams during maintenance activities.
- Maintain daily maintenance and inspection records.
- Prepare breakdown reports and communicate equipment issues to the Senior Mechanical Engineer.
- Assist in maintaining equipment history and preventive-maintenance records.
- Support inventory checking of mechanical spare parts, tools and consumables.




- Assist in coordinating with vendors and contractors during maintenance and servicing activities.
- Support installation, testing and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
- Assist the maintenance team during emergency breakdowns and equipment restoration.
- Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and according to approved SOPs.
- Immediately report mechanical safety hazards or equipment abnormalities to the concerned supervisor.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working conditions in maintenance areas.
- Support efforts to reduce equipment downtime and improve reliability.
- Assist technicians and maintenance staff as directed by the Senior Mechanical Engineer.
- Prepare and submit required daily/periodic maintenance reports.
- Perform other engineering and maintenance duties assigned by management.

Qualification Required
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Additional technical certification will be an advantage.

Experience Required
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering / Maintenance.
- Experience in Amusement Parks, Theme Parks, Snow Parks, Resorts, Hotels, Hospitality,



Industrial Maintenance or similar facilities will be preferred.
- Fresh Engineering Graduates with solid technical knowledge and willingness to learn may also be considered.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a technically sound, disciplined and safety-conscious Mechanical Engineer with a willingness to learn and develop hands-on maintenance skills.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a tourism, entertainment and high-footfall environment, where equipment safety and reliability are important.

The candidate should be willing to work in shifts, weekends, public holidays and during peak tourist seasons as required by the operation.
