Junior HR Executive – Logistics Company
Job Title: Junior HR Executive
Department: Human Resources

Job Summary:
The Junior HR Executive will support day-to-day HR operations for the logistics workforce, including recruitment, employee documentation, attendance, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee engagement, and compliance. The role involves regular coordination with warehouse, transport, delivery, and operations teams to ensure smooth manpower management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Hiring
- Coordinate recruitment for warehouse staff, delivery executives, drivers, helpers, supervisors, and office employees.
- Source candidates through job portals, employee referrals, recruitment agencies, and local hiring.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews.
- Coordinate interview schedules with department managers.
- Complete joining formalities and maintain recruitment records.
- Support manpower planning based on operational requirements.
2. Employee Onboarding
- Conduct joining and induction processes for current employees.
- Collect and verify employee documents such as ID proof, address proof, bank details, photographs, and educational certificates.
- Create and maintain employee personnel files.
- Explain company policies, attendance rules, leave policies, and workplace procedures to new employees.
3. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor daily attendance, late coming, absenteeism, and shift schedules.
- Maintain attendance records for warehouse and field employees.
- Coordinate with supervisors regarding unauthorized absence and manpower shortages.
- Process leave applications and maintain leave records.
- Support preparation of attendance data for payroll processing.
4. Payroll Support
- Coordinate with the payroll/accounts team for monthly salary processing.
- Verify attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, and leave information.
- Maintain records related to salary advances, loans, incentives, and other employee payments.
- Resolve basic employee queries related to attendance and salary discrepancies.
5. Employee Relations
- Handle basic employee grievances and HR-related queries.
- Coordinate with employees and supervisors to resolve workplace issues.
- Support employee engagement activities and maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist in disciplinary procedures when required.
6. HR Documentation & Records
- Maintain accurate employee databases and HR records.
- Prepare HR reports related to headcount, attendance, attrition, recruitment, and absenteeism.
- Ensure employee documents and records are properly maintained and updated.
- Issue HR-related letters such as appointment letters, experience letters, warning letters, and other documents as authorized.
7. Compliance & Policies
- Support compliance with applicable labour laws and company HR policies.
- Maintain statutory and employee records as required.
- Coordinate with management regarding compliance documentation.
- Assist during internal audits and HR inspections.
8. Coordination with Operations
- Work closely with warehouse, transportation, delivery, and operations managers to understand manpower requirements.
- Track manpower shortages and coordinate urgent recruitment.
- Support shift planning and employee deployment.
- Monitor workforce issues across different operational locations.
Required Skills

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- MBA/PGDM in HR is an advantage but not always mandatory.
Experience 1–2 years of HR experience is suitable for a Junior HR Executive position. Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, e-commerce, delivery operations, or manpower-intensive industries is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
