Role Description The Junior BIM Modeler is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Madurai Area. This role focuses on creating and updating 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines using industry-standard BIM software under the guidance of senior team members.

Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting drawings and specifications, coordinating model information, performing basic clash checks, and supporting the preparation of shop drawings and quantity take-offs. The Junior BIM Modeler will collaborate with engineers and designers to maintain model accuracy, follow project standards, and support digital construction workflows.



The role also involves documenting work, participating in review meetings, and continuously learning new BIM tools and processes.

Qualifications

- S trong foundation in BIM concepts and 3D modeling, with the ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Proficiency in at least one major BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks) and familiarity with clash detection and model coordination workflows.
- Basic understanding of construction documentation, shop drawings, and quantity take-off (QTO) processes.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in modeling and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a project team, follow established standards, and communicate clearly in English.
- Willingness to learn advanced BIM workflows such as 4D/5D BIM and digital construction practices; prior internship or project experience in BIM is an advantage.
- Comfort working in an on-site environment in the Greater Madurai Area and managing multiple tasks within project timelines.
