Role Description The Junior Architect role at SMARTANK is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role involves supporting architectural design activities, assisting in the development of structural and layout plans, and preparing sketches, drawings, and documentation under the guidance of senior architects.

The Junior

Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility, participate in project meetings, and help coordinate with external partners and vendors. Daily responsibilities include reviewing project requirements, contributing to design concepts, supporting basic integration planning with related systems, and maintaining project files and records.



The role also requires adherence to quality standards, timelines, and regulatory guidelines while learning and contributing to SMARTANK’s strategic and cutting-edge approach to architecture.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to support planning, layouts, and conceptual design.
- Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration concepts, particularly as they relate to architectural and project workflows.
- Knowledge of Project Management principles, including organizing tasks, tracking progress, and supporting documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software), and familiarity with building codes and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to follow structured design processes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and interact with stakeholders.
