Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design and delivery of architectural and interior projects, working in office at the Madurai studio in a full-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing concept designs, preparing drawings and 3D models, assisting with design presentations, and contributing to detailed design and documentation. The role involves coordinating with senior architects, consultants, and vendors, supporting site visits, and helping monitor project progress to align with design intent.

Architect will also assist in space planning, material selection, and integration of technical requirements, while maintaining organized project files and adhering to timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into functional, buildable solutions.
- Understanding of Software Development and Integration in the context of architectural workflows (e.g., using design and collaboration tools effectively).
- Basic Project Management abilities, including task coordination, time management, and documentation support.
- Proficiency in relevant design and visualization software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; eligibility for professional licensing is an advantage.
- Strong design sense, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and follow design direction from senior team members.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in an on-site studio environment and attend site visits.
- Interest in residential, commercial, and hospitality design, and willingness to learn within a fast-paced, design-driven practice.
