Role & responsibilities

1. Design & Visualization

- Conduct site visits and take detailed measurements, photos, and client briefs
- Create concept designs, 3D visualizations, and walkthroughs in SketchUp + Lumion/Enscape/V-Ray
- Develop detailed landscape plans: hardscape, softscape, lighting, irrigation, and material specs
- Prepare qualified mood boards, material palettes, and plant selections to communicate design intent
- Revise designs based on client feedback, budget constraints, and site feasibility
- Produce construction drawings and BOQs in collaboration with the execution team

2. Client Communication & Presentations

- Lead client meetings from discovery to final presentation
- Translate client needs, lifestyle, and budget into compelling design narratives
- Present SketchUp models and mood boards with clarity, confidence, and storytelling
- Manage client expectations on timelines, costs, and design limitations
- Document all communication, changes, and approvals for smooth handover to execution

3.Upsell value-adds: lighting, automation, maintenance packages, premium materials 4. Project Coordination





- Collaborate with architects, civil team, horticulturists, and vendors during design phase
- Ensure designs are practical, buildable, and within client budget
- Smooth handover of approved designs, drawings, and BOQs to the execution team
- Remain available for design clarification during execution phase

5. Market & Trend Awareness

- Stay updated on landscape trends: materials, plant species, outdoor living concepts, sustainability
- Research competitor offerings, pricing, and presentation styles
- Continuously improve SketchUp skills, rendering quality, and presentation decks

Qualifications Must-Haves
- 1+ years in landscape design with proven portfolio
- Expert in SketchUp + rendering plugin (Lumion/Enscape/V-Ray)
- Strong skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop/InDesign for mood boards & presentations
- Excellent verbal communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Understanding of materials, plants, construction basics, and costing
