Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through detailed drawings and documentation. This is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai, working closely with senior architects and project teams to develop design concepts, prepare 2D and 3D drawings, and assist in presentations and client meetings. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting plans and sections, coordinating with consultants, updating design documents based on feedback, and helping ensure that design intent, building codes, and sustainability considerations are met.

Architect will also assist with basic project coordination tasks,



site visits, and documentation to support smooth project execution.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and design documentation.
- Understanding of Project Management principles, including planning, coordination, and tracking deliverables to support project timelines.
- Ability to work with Integration concepts, collaborating across disciplines (structure, MEP, interiors) to ensure cohesive design solutions.
- Familiarity with Software Development or digital workflows related to architecture (e.g., BIM tools, parametric design, scripting) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar) and basic rendering tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and eligibility to register or in the process of registration with a professional body, as applicable.
- Robust visual communication, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and apply building codes and regulations.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting, respond constructively to feedback, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in sustainable design, innovation, and emerging architectural technologies is highly beneficial.
