Company Description Ateliér ASRAYA is a boutique architecture studio working at the intersection of art, architecture, construction, computation, BIM, and visualization. The studio approaches every project as a unique narrative shaped by its site, context, and cultural rhythm. Drawing from art, material expression, and atmospheric qualities, the team focuses on designing immersive spatial experiences rather than just functional spaces.

The in-house architects combine agility with imagination to handle diverse design challenges. Current explorations emphasize sculptural forms, innovative materials, and the use of advanced technologies in parametric and generative architecture.

Role Description The Junior Architect 2026 role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Junior

Architect will support concept development, schematic design, and detailed design for a range of architectural projects, contributing to drawings, 3D models, and visualizations. Day-to-day work includes preparing design documentation, assisting in BIM workflows, coordinating with senior architects, and helping refine material palettes and spatial layouts. The role involves conducting design and site-related research, participating in internal design reviews, and ensuring design intent is maintained through various project stages.

The Junior

Architect will collaborate closely with the studio team to explore parametric and generative design approaches and translate conceptual ideas into buildable solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in architectural design, spatial planning, and concept development.
- Proficiency in architectural drafting and 3D modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Rhino, SketchUp).
- Experience or interest in parametric and generative design using relevant software or plug-ins (e.g., Grasshopper, computational design tools).
- Skills in visualization and representation, including rendering, diagramming, and presentation layout.
- Understanding of materials, construction techniques, and basic building systems.
- Ability to conduct design, site, and precedent research and synthesize insights into transparent design proposals.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work on multiple tasks under guidance from senior team members.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a studio environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification; internship or 0–2 years of experience in architecture or related fields is preferred.
- Interest in contemporary architectural discourse, art, and experimental design practices.
