Job Summary

Asthra Projects is looking for a Junior Accountant to assist the Chief Accountant with day-to-day accounting and finance activities. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of basic accounting, be comfortable working with bills and invoices, and be willing to learn and take responsibility for routine accounting work.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Chief Accountant in daily accounting activities.
- Prepare sales bills, purchase bills, invoices, vouchers, and payment documents.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions.
- Maintain accounts, receipts, payments, expenses, and supporting documents.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
- Verify bills, invoices, and expense documents.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and maintaining bank records.
- Maintain petty cash and expense records.
- Assist with GST, TDS, audit, and statutory accounting activities.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Prepare basic accounting reports as required.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding bills and payments.
- Perform other accounts-related duties assigned by the Chief Accountant.

Required Qualifications

- B.Com / Graduate in Commerce or equivalent.




- M.Com / MBA Finance / Postgraduates can also apply.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Freshers are also welcome to apply.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of Tally/ERP software will be an advantage.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of the Chief Accountant.
