Petition of the CERC (Conduct of Business) (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) and (Indian Electricity Grid Code) Regulations of Kallam Transmission Ltd - EQ

Responsibilities

- Develop advanced level understanding of the power sector and more specifically the renewables sector, focusing on asset/operations management in the solar energy industry

- Develop use cases of analysis workflows, tools and techniques used by personnel in the aforementioned industry

- Design analytic tools that will address specific pain points and needs of the industry

- Contribute to building a documentation and information repository

- Interface and work with software developers to have the analytic tools developed as complete, marketable products

Skills

- Technical skills: Knowledge of statistics, data mining, machine learning and optimization techniques at a minimum we are looking for regression, classification techniques, time series modeling, neural networks and linear optimization.

- Analytical skills: Ability to interpret data and analysis results to derive actionable insights rather than only be able use tools.

- Communication skills and teamwork: Must be comfortable working in an interdisciplinary team and interface with people from business, technical and software development backgrounds





- Time management: The ability to multi-task efficiently is crucial; we work on multiple projects and data streams simultaneously and the environment is fast-paced.

- Other good to have skills: We are looking for someone who loves to innovate, is creative, willing to contribute to find solutions no matter what the problem. Most importantly, someone who is willing has the thirst for learning.

- Tools: Must have experience working with popular analytic tools, languages/frameworks such as R and Python libraries/package.

Experience with Tableau is a plus!

- Knowledge of JSON and XML file structures is necessary, as is intermediate knowledge of accessing data using SQL. Knowledge of a NoSQL database is a plus.

- Very valuable skills in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of VBA is a bonus!

Education

- A Bachelor s degree in a quantitative discipline, example Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.

Work experience

- A minimum of 1 year fulltime work experience with demonstrable evidence of application of aforementioned skills requirements.
