About Us

Deepak Brick Manufacturers is an established red brick manufacturing unit based in Maharajpur, Kanpur. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, and stock records.

Role Overview

We are hiring an Accountant who is well-versed in GST filing and can independently manage inventory (stock inward/outward) entries in Tally. The ideal candidate will handle the firm's daily accounts, ensure timely GST compliance, and maintain accurate stock records of raw materials and finished bricks.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally (ERP/Prime)
- Record stock inward (raw material, coal, clay, etc.) and stock outward (brick dispatch/sales) accurately and on time
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and ensure compliance with GST regulations
- Reconcile GST input/output, handle GSTR-2A/2B matching
- Maintain purchase and sales registers
- Prepare invoices, bills, and e-way bills as required
- Manage ledgers, bank reconciliation, and petty cash




- Coordinate with the CA/tax consultant for annual filings and audits
- Generate periodic stock and sales reports for management
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent; accounting certification is a plus
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing/trading firm
- Hands-on working knowledge of Tally (stock/inventory module, GST module)
- Strong understanding of GST filing and compliance
- Familiarity with e-way bill generation
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel
- Valuable communication skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Location Preference

- Candidates residing in Kanpur are preferred
- Candidates willing to stay at/near the site (Maharajpur, Kanpur) will also be considered

Salary

As per experience and Industry standards (to be discussed at interview)
