About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Chartered Accountant with 25–35 years of professional experience to join our organisation as Chief Accounting Controller The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, financial control, audit, taxation, compliance, financial reporting, and supervision of accounting functions.

Candidates who have retired from Government service—particularly from Accounts, Finance, Audit, Treasury, PSU, or similar financial positions—will be strongly preferred. However, senior Chartered Accountants and finance professionals retired from reputed private-sector organisations will also be considered.

This is a full-time employment opportunity, with work-from-home facility available for the selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Overall supervision and control of the organisation's accounting and financial functions.
- Review and approval of accounting entries, journal entries, vouchers, ledgers, and financial transactions.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper classification of accounting records.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Supervise bank reconciliation, debtor/creditor reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and outstanding balances.
- Establish and monitor strong internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Review financial MIS and provide meaningful observations to management.
- Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, expenses, and financial commitments.
- Review GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, government departments, and other financial stakeholders wherever required.
- Identify accounting errors, financial irregularities, control weaknesses, and potential financial risks.
- Supervise and guide the accounting team and review their day-to-day work.
- Develop and implement accounting SOPs, checklists, and control mechanisms.
- Assist management in budgeting, financial planning, cost control,



and financial decision-making.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records.
- Handle complex accounting and financial matters requiring senior-level professional judgement.
- Provide senior-level guidance to the management on accounting, finance, taxation, and compliance matters.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 25–35 years of experience
- *Retired Government Officer / Government Accounts or Finance Professional will be strongly preferred.
- Candidates retired from PSUs, Government departments, statutory bodies, autonomous bodies, or reputed private organisations may also apply.
- Extensive experience in accounting and financial control.
- Strong understanding of audit, taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience in supervising accounting teams and reviewing financial records.
- Strong analytical and decision-making ability.
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and skilled maturity.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote working environment.

Compensation & Perks

- *Salary: ₹40000 – ₹50,000 per month, depending upon experience and suitability.
