Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Jewellery Sales role based at the Shree Banaras Jewels showroom in Varanasi.

The Jewellery

Sales team member will welcome and assist customers, understand their preferences, and recommend suitable designs and collections. Daily responsibilities include explaining product features and pricing, handling inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and transparent sales process. The role also involves managing displays, maintaining stock presentation, processing billing and payments, and supporting after-sales service.



The team member will collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and uphold the showroom’s service and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customers.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience in retail or jewelry sales, and confidence in closing transactions.
- Attention to detail and product knowledge, with interest in jewelry, gemstones, designs, and current market trends.
- Effective communication skills in English and local languages, with clear and respectful verbal interaction.
- Basic numeracy and familiarity with billing, POS systems, and cash handling.
- Qualified appearance, time management skills, and reliability in following showroom procedures and schedules.
- Ability to work on-site in Varanasi, including weekends and peak festive seasons as required.
- Prior experience in jewelry or luxury retail is preferred; a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is
