BIW Upper Body

- Design and develop BIW upper body systems, including roof, side body outer and inner panels, A/B/C pillars, and sill assemblies.
- Design and develop BIW underbody systems, such as floor assembly, rear panels, longitudinal members, dash panels, and seat cross members.
- Create and modify sheet metal components in compliance with design specifications, manufacturability, and performance requirements.
- Apply strong knowledge of master sections, GD&T;, tolerancing, manufacturing methods, and assembly processes during design development.
- Develop detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD tools, primarily CATIA V5/V6.
- Utilize PLM systems such as 3DEXPERIENCE and ENOVIA to manage product data and design releases.
- Manage BIW interfaces, packaging constraints, and dimensional clearances across vehicle systems.
- Maintain product structures, BOMs, and part releases within PLM environments.
- Apply in-depth understanding of materials and manufacturing processes used in BIW structures.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, safety, CAE, and quality teams.




- Ensure compliance with automotive BIW design standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Support structural analysis and simulation requirements to validate design performance and durability.
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and preparation of engineering documentation.
- Support BIW testing and validation activities to drive continuous design improvements.
- Perform benchmarking studies of competitor designs and materials and propose innovative design solutions.
- Demonstrate strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Experience: 3-5 Years Education: BE or Master in Mechanical or Relevant
