Role Description The Java Trainer role at Code Setu is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The trainer will design and deliver Java programming courses, including core Java concepts, object-oriented programming, and related tools and frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting classroom sessions, preparing teaching materials, creating assignments and projects, and providing feedback to learners on their performance.

The trainer will also support learners with interview preparation, coding practice, and guidance on career paths in software development.



Collaboration with the training team to refine curriculum, update content based on industry trends, and ensure a high-quality learning experience is an essential part of this role.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in core Java, object-oriented programming, and commonly used Java libraries and tools
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, design structured lesson plans, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
- Experience creating coding exercises, projects, and assessments, and providing constructive, actionable feedback
- Familiarity with software development practices such as version control (e.g., Git), basic debugging, and coding standards
- Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, teaching assistant, or mentor in programming or related technical subjects is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners in a classroom setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Willingness to stay current with Java updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to keep course content relevant
