About The Role We are seeking an experienced Associate Architect specializing in Java to join our dynamic team in Mumbai or Bangalore. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise Java applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and maintainable. This role involves direct engagement with clients for project briefing, consultations, and project reviews, as well as collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The Associate

Architect will also be responsible for mentoring team members, overseeing technical standards, and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, influence architectural decisions, and contribute significantly to client success stories.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in enterprise Java development with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. A proven track record in Java application modernization, including upgrading legacy systems to newer Java LTS versions (Java 17/21/25), is highly preferred.

Candidates must have hands-on experience with J2EE, Spring Boot, and REST/SOAP API development. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles,



API integration, and cloud architecture is essential. Familiarity with tools such as Git, Maven, and JFrog is required.

Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, AWS services, and automated code modernization tools like AWS Transform Custom (ATX) will be advantageous. Candidates should also demonstrate expertise in Agile development methodologies, unit and integration testing, and developing microservices-based enterprise web applications. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills are mandatory.

Responsibilities

- Connect with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical consultation, and facilitate project reviews from initiation to completion.
- Support the design, development, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise Java applications, ensuring the solutions meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Manage customer demands effectively to maximize satisfaction while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Negotiate project scope, resources, and infrastructure requirements with clients and internal teams; create comprehensive technical documentation.
- Supervise coordination between internal teams and external resources to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of services.
- Evaluate project data for accuracy, set project targets and priorities, and lead efforts to meet project milestones.
- Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and current best practices to continually improve service quality.
- Review technical demands and instructions from clients, assisting teams in identifying optimal methods for system maintenance and material utilization.




- Conduct research on current trends and technologies, integrating creative solutions into project architectures.
- Ensure APIs are robust, scalable, and maintainable, coordinating with different layers of infrastructure for seamless integration.
- Perform technical duties related to coding, testing, and deploying applications, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, providing effective solutions to optimize system performance.
- Collaborate effectively within distributed teams, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
