Role Description This full-time, on-site Java Backend Developer role is based in Krishnaraja Nagara.

The Java Backend

Developer will design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power 3Gen’s healthcare and RCM technology platforms. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient Java code, integrating with databases and third-party services, troubleshooting and optimizing performance, and ensuring security and compliance in backend components. The role involves collaborating closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and domain experts to deliver robust features and enhancements. The developer will also participate in code reviews,



contribute to architecture discussions, and support continuous improvement of the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong backend development skills, including core Java programming, object-oriented design, and experience with modern Java frameworks (such as Spring or Spring Boot).
- Candidates should possess server-side and API skills, including RESTful API design, microservices development, and integration with internal and external services.
- Candidates should possess database-related skills, including SQL, relational database design (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), and experience with ORM tools.
- Candidates should possess software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), unit and integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Candidates should possess understanding of security and compliance principles, particularly in handling sensitive data and building secure, reliable backend systems.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and prior experience in healthcare or RCM domains.
