IT & Systems Engineer / Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically competent and proactive IT & Systems Engineer / Technician to manage and support the school's IT and digital infrastructure.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in computer hardware and software, networking, internet configuration, CCTV systems, interactive panels, projectors, AV equipment and school applications/ERP systems.

The person should be capable of independently identifying problems, coordinating with users and vendors, implementing solutions and ensuring that the school's technology systems remain reliable and operational.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT equipment.
- Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, internet connectivity and basic network security.
- Maintain and troubleshoot interactive panels, smart classroom systems and projectors.
- Monitor and maintain CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR systems and related infrastructure.
- Provide technical support for the school's ERP, software applications, email and other digital platforms.
- Coordinate with software, hardware, internet, CCTV and AV vendors and follow up on service and warranty issues.
- Maintain proper IT asset inventory, service records and equipment documentation.
- Ensure regular backups, antivirus protection, software updates and basic cybersecurity practices.




- Provide technical assistance to teachers, administrative staff and management.
- Support school functions, presentations and events requiring IT/AV assistance.
- Identify recurring problems and implement preventive measures rather than merely responding to breakdowns.
- Assist the management in evaluating and implementing new technology and IT improvement projects.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Solid knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking.
- Practical experience with CCTV, interactive panels, projectors and AV systems will be an advantage.
- Experience with ERP/software support and vendor coordination preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA or Microsoft certifications will be an added advantage.

Key Expectation The successful candidate should have an ownership mentality and should proactively identify and resolve technology-related issues rather than waiting for problems to be reported. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
