Job Summary
The IT Planning Analyst will drive enterprise-level IT planning, budgeting, and governance processes. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership to design, implement, and optimize enterprise IT initiatives, financial management frameworks, and resource allocation strategies. The position requires strong analytical skills, enterprise architecture knowledge, and extensive experience in managing cross-functional IT programs and operations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in enterprise initiatives and provide EPPM support to project managers, resource managers, and project control officers.
- Collaborate with internal divisions such as merchandising, demand planning, supply planning, and sales operations to design and implement demand planning solutions.
- Work as a liaison among stakeholders to gather, analyze, and communicate requirements for business process or system changes.
- Assist in preparation of annual IT business plans, coordinate resource management efforts, and provide recommendations for IT initiatives.
- Prepare reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and information for senior leadership.
- Lead high-profile IT planning, business analysis, and operations projects with cross-functional exposure.
- Facilitate leadership meetings, manage issue resolutions, and ensure key initiatives are delivered on schedule.
- Develop and deliver enterprise-wide presentations and reports for senior leaders.
- Follow up on initiatives and ensure successful resolution and implementation across business units.
- Coordinate and manage communication strategies, messaging, and change management for IT and enterprise-wide programs.
- Act as a thought leader in IT planning and governance, applying strategic insights to complex challenges.
- Drive change and alignment across IT, finance, and business teams to ensure goal achievement.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders across IT, business finance, and other functional teams.
- Manage operational processes like purchase orders (POs), business continuity planning (BCP), and financial reviews.
- Provide progress reports and briefing materials as required by leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in enterprise IT, business analysis, or IT planning roles.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as PRINCE2, CoBIT, and TOGAF.
- Robust understanding of IT budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
- Experience in coordinating IT strategy and governance across multiple business units.
- Ability to work directly with senior leadership and influence key business outcomes.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a reputed university.
