Job Title: Inventory Manager ( have worked on Zoho preferred )

Job Summary:

The Inventory Manager plans, organizes, and controls inventory operations to maintain optimal stock levels, ensure inventory accuracy, and support business objectives. This role involves coordinating with purchasing, warehouse, logistics, production, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels across warehouses and locations.
- Track stock movement, receipts, transfers, and shipments.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shortages, overstock situations, and discrepancies.
- Develop inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishment of stock.
- Ensure accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS systems.
- Forecast inventory requirements based on demand and business needs.
- Manage obsolete, damaged, or slow-moving inventory.
- Prepare inventory reports and KPIs for management.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- 38 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain management (depending on seniority).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and stock control methods.




- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics. (have worked on Zoho preferred) new software knowledge/work on will be advantageous
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

- Inventory forecasting and demand planning.
- Data analysis and reporting.
- Warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Process improvement and cost optimization.
- Team leadership and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Inventory accuracy rate.
- Stock turnover ratio.
- Stockout frequency.
- Inventory carrying cost.
- Order fulfillment rate.
- Shrinkage and loss percentage.
- Dead stock reduction.

Preferred Education

- Bachelor's degree in:

- Supply Chain Management

- Logistics Management

- Operations Management

- Business Administration (BBA/MBA)
- Commerce (B.Com/M.Com)

Preferred Industry Experience Organizations often prefer candidates with inventory management experience in one or more of the following industries:

- Manufacturing

- Logistics and Supply Chain Services
- Industrial Equipment and Engineering
