Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Inventory Manager to manage end-to-end inventory operations across retail outlets / salon locations. The role will be responsible for stock planning, procurement coordination, inward and outward movement, stock accuracy, transfers, reconciliation, expiry control, and inventory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily inventory operations across stores, salons, warehouses, and outlets.

Monitor stock levels, minimum/maximum levels, reorder points, and fast/slow-moving items.

Plan and coordinate stock replenishment based on consumption, sales, and outlet requirements.

Manage stock inward, GRN, outward issues, inter-branch transfers, returns, and adjustments.

Maintain accurate physical and system stock records and ensure timely updates.

Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock audits; investigate variances.

Track product expiry, damaged stock, near-expiry items, and dead/slow-moving inventory.

Coordinate with procurement, vendors, accounts, store teams, and salon/retail managers.

Monitor stock consumption of salon products, retail products, consumables, packaging, and other supplies.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory MIS covering stock value, consumption, variances, ageing, and replenishment.

Identify inventory leakage, wastage, pilferage, overstocking,



and process gaps and take corrective action.

Ensure proper storage, labeling, batch-wise tracking, and FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.

Maintain inventory documentation and ensure compliance with internal SOPs and control procedures.

Use inventory/ERP/POS software and Excel for stock tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.

Support new outlet openings and stock planning, allocation, and initial inventory setup.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of inventory and stock management

Retail / Salon / Beauty & Wellness inventory experience preferred

Good understanding of stock reconciliation and physical verification

Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and basic MIS reporting

Experience with ERP / Inventory / POS software; Zenoti or similar salon software is an advantage

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong coordination and communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to identify stock discrepancies and control inventory losses

Ability to manage multiple outlets / locations independently

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Inventory accuracy and stock variance percentage

Stock-out and overstock reduction

Timely stock replenishment

Inventory ageing and expiry control

Reduction in wastage, leakage, and pilferage

Timely completion of stock audits and reconciliations

Accuracy and timeliness of inventory MIS

Qualification

Graduate in Commerce, Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field. Relevant practical experience in inventory management will be considered.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
