Hiring: Warehouse / Inventory Manager

Location: DEKO Partition India, LLP

Experience: 6–8 Years

Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse / Inventory Manager to lead warehouse operations, inventory control, material flow, and dispatch activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Tally ERP, inventory reconciliation, stock audits, material coordination, and warehouse process management, along with a passion for digitization, Lean/5S, and continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for someone who can manage day-to-day warehouse operations while also identifying and implementing cost-effective technology and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Material Coordination

- Manage end-to-end warehouse and inventory operations.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Vendors, Production, Projects, and Export teams for timely material availability.
- Ensure smooth material movement between warehouse, shop floor, and job-work units.
- Monitor material receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch.

Inventory Management

- Receive materials in Tally ERP and generate receipt notes.
- Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure 100% reconciliation of physical stock with ERP records.
- Monitor high-value, slow-moving, and critical inventory.
- Analyze consumption trends and support inventory forecasting.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Conduct quality checks of surface-treated profiles before storage/dispatch.
- Maintain inspection and inventory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, housekeeping, Lean and 5S standards.





Dispatch & Documentation

- Prepare packing lists, delivery notes, and dispatch documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of materials.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for material handling, storage, and dispatch.
- Track dispatch schedules and delivery commitments.

Innovation & Digitalization

We are looking for a tech-savvy and improvement-oriented professional who can identify practical, low-cost solutions to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

The candidate will be expected to:

- Evaluate and recommend inventory solutions such as Zoho Inventory, Odoo, Sortly, Katana, EasyReplenish, or similar platforms.
- Introduce barcode/QR/RFID scanning and mobile-based inventory reconciliation where appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual data entry and errors.
- Drive Lean, 5S and Kaizen initiatives.
- Recommend ERP integrations, add-ons, or open-source solutions to strengthen warehouse processes.
- Lead warehouse digitization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leadership & Reporting
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse personnel.
- Ensure employees follow warehouse SOPs, ERP procedures, safety requirements, and housekeeping standards.
- Prepare MIS reports covering stock levels, consumption, inventory aging, audits, and discrepancies.




- Provide management with insights on inventory turnover, slow-moving stock, stock accuracy, and forecasting requirements.
- Drive improvements in reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

- Tally ERP – Mandatory
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Zoho Inventory, Odoo, or similar ERP/inventory systems is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock audits, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
- Understanding of warehouse storage, material handling, and dispatch processes.
- Knowledge of quality inspection and surface-treated profiles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Lean, 5S, Kaizen and ISO standards.
- Strong MS Excel/MIS reporting skills.
- Ability to evaluate and implement technology-based inventory solutions.
- Solid leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certification in Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, or ERP systems.
- Training/certification in Lean, 5S, Kaizen, or ISO.
- Proven experience implementing cost-effective inventory digitization or process improvement initiatives.
