Job Summary

We are looking for an Inventory Coordinator with robust knowledge of electrical products, switches, lighting products, wires & cables, MCBs, accessories, and related electrical items . The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material movement, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate stock and inventory records for electrical products and raw materials.
- Coordinate material receipt, storage, issue, transfer, and dispatch .
- Monitor daily physical stock vs. system stock and identify discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Sales, Stores, and Dispatch teams for material requirements.
- Maintain proper SKU-wise, product-wise, batch-wise and location-wise inventory .
- Track inward and outward material and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and highlight shortage or excess inventory.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counts .
- Ensure proper identification and storage of electrical items to avoid mixing or wrong dispatches.
- Coordinate with production regarding material availability and consumption .
- Prepare daily/weekly inventory reports, stock statements, shortage reports and reconciliation reports .
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable .
- Update inventory transactions accurately in ERP/WMS/Tally or company inventory software .
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, damaged and excess stock.
- Support internal and external stock audits .




- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards in the inventory/store area.

Special Knowledge Required – Electrical Products The candidate must have practical knowledge of electrical items , including:

- Modular switches and sockets
- Switches, plates and accessories
- MCB, RCCB, DB and protection devices
- LED bulbs, panel lights, street lights and other LED products
- Holders, plugs, adapters and electrical accessories
- Wires & cables
- Electrical connectors, terminals and related components
- Basic understanding of electrical product specifications, ratings and variants
- Ability to understand SKU/product codes, specifications, sizes, ratings and packaging quantities
- Knowledge of electrical product packing and carton-wise inventory

Required Skills
- Strong inventory and stock management skills
- Good knowledge of electrical products is mandatory
- ERP/WMS/Tally knowledge preferred
- MS Excel – VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, filters and basic reporting
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to identify stock discrepancies
- Ability to work under deadlines

Qualification Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Electrical, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in electrical manufacturing, electrical trading, lighting, switches & accessories, wires & cables, or electrical distribution will be preferred.
