Role Description The Intern Data Science role at PPStack is a full-time remote position focused on supporting data-driven initiatives across the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various learning and career platforms, assisting in building and evaluating data science models, and generating insights to improve educational content and learner outcomes.

The intern will collaborate with data scientists, educators, and product teams to contribute to dashboards, reports, and experiments that enhance AI-powered solutions and career acceleration programs.



The role also involves documenting findings, presenting results to stakeholders, and continuously learning new tools and techniques relevant to data science and EdTech.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex datasets, identify patterns, and support data-informed decision making.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics to apply descriptive and inferential methods, hypothesis testing, and basic probability in data projects.
- Candidates should possess foundational Data Science skills, including familiarity with machine learning concepts, data modeling, and working with relevant libraries or tools.
- Candidates should possess Data Analytics and Data Analysis skills to perform data cleaning, transformation, visualization, and reporting.
- Basic proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science (such as Python or R) and experience with SQL or similar query languages.
- Comfort with tools for data visualization and reporting (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms).
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, curiosity to learn, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote workplace.
