Role Description The Insurance Consultant role at Bajaj Life is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Insurance

Consultant will meet and advise prospective and existing customers on suitable life insurance products, including ULIPs, term plans, retirement, and child policies, aligned with their financial goals. Daily responsibilities include understanding customer needs, explaining product features and benefits, conducting financial needs assessments,



and supporting customers through the policy selection and application process. The role involves maintaining regular contact with clients, handling queries and service requests, coordinating with branch and operations teams, and ensuring high standards of customer experience.

The Insurance

Consultant is also expected to achieve assigned sales and service targets while adhering to regulatory and company compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Insurance products and concepts, including life insurance, ULIPs, and term plans.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills, such as understanding of investments, risk management, and personal financial planning.
- Candidates should possess Consulting abilities, including needs analysis, solution recommendation, and relationship management.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and issue resolution.
- Candidates should possess robust Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Relevant experience in life insurance, financial services, or advisory roles is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment, sound ethical judgment, and familiarity with digital tools and CRM systems are advantageous.
