Role Description The Insurance Advisor role is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru.

The Insurance

Advisor will identify customer needs, recommend suitable protection and savings solutions, and explain policy features, benefits, and terms in a clear and compliant manner. Daily responsibilities include meeting prospective and existing customers, conducting financial needs assessments, preparing proposals, and supporting customers through the application, underwriting, and policy servicing processes. The role involves maintaining accurate records of client interactions, following up on leads, coordinating with internal teams for smooth policy issuance,



and ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies.

The Insurance

Advisor is also expected to participate in training sessions, contribute to sales targets, and uphold high standards of professional ethics and customer service.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and practical understanding of Insurance products and Insurance advisory practices.
- Foundational Finance skills, including basic financial planning concepts and ability to interpret financial information.
- Consulting-oriented skills to assess customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and build long-term advisory relationships.
- Customer Service capabilities to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a positive, customer-centric experience.
- Clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain complex information in an accessible manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications in insurance or financial planning are an advantage.
- Proven ability to meet targets, work with minimal supervision, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the insurance sector and comfort working with digital tools and CRM systems.
- Prior experience in insurance sales, banking, or financial services is beneficial but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates.
