Role Description The Insurance Agent role at Health Insurance Care is a full time hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. On a day-to-day basis, the Insurance Agent will consult with individuals and families to understand their health coverage needs, explain Affordable Care Act-compliant plan options, and recommend suitable policies.

The role involves managing leads, conducting insurance needs assessments, preparing quotes, and guiding clients through enrollment and renewal processes.

The Insurance

Agent will handle client inquiries, resolve coverage-related questions, maintain accurate records in the CRM system,



and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. The position also requires staying current on regulatory changes and product updates to provide accurate, compliant information.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with the ability to explain policy features and benefits clearly.
- Experience in Insurance Brokerage and understanding of multiple insurance carriers and product offerings.
- Foundational knowledge of Finance to discuss premiums, deductibles, and cost-sharing in an accessible way.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and timely issue resolution.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and meet performance and compliance targets.
- Prior experience in health insurance or financial services is preferred; familiarity with ACA regulations is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
