Job Title: Lead / Senior Instructional Designer – CTE & U.S. K-12
Experience: 4–8+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Lead / Senior Instructional Designer with strong expertise in U.S. K-12 and Career & Technical Education (CTE) to design, develop, review, and lead high-quality digital learning content.
The ideal candidate should have strong instructional design, storyboarding, assessment, accessibility, and content development skills, along with experience working with U.S. state standards and CTE frameworks. Responsibilities
Design and develop engaging, learner-centric instructional content for U.S. K-12 and CTE programs.
Create detailed storyboards, lesson plans, learning activities, assessments, and instructional materials.
Apply instructional design methodologies such as 5E, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Gradual Release of Responsibility.
Align learning content with U.S. state standards and CTE frameworks, with preference for experience with TEKS.
Develop appropriate formative and summative assessments aligned with learning objectives.
Ensure content meets accessibility and inclusive learning standards.
Review instructional deliverables for instructional quality, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project requirements.
Collaborate with SMEs, content developers, visual designers, multimedia developers, and project teams.
Provide guidance and feedback to junior instructional designers and support overall project delivery.
Use authoring and multimedia tools to support digital learning development. Expertise-
Strong experience in Instructional Design and Storyboarding.
Hands-on experience with U.S. K-12 and/or CTE content development.
Strong understanding of U.S. curriculum, standards, and learning frameworks.
Knowledge of 5E, UDL, and Gradual Release of Responsibility.
Experience working with U.S. state standards/CTE frameworks; TEKS knowledge is preferred.
Strong understanding of assessment design and learning objectives.
Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive instructional design.
Experience with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, Vyond, Camtasia, or similar tools.
Experience in reviewing, editing, and providing feedback on instructional deliverables.
Robust written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to independently manage deliverables and meet project deadlines. Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree or above in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field. Prefered- 4–8+ years of relevant experience in Instructional Design.
Experience working on U.S. K-12 / CTE eLearning projects.
Experience in a lead/senior instructional design or content review role.
Strong understanding of digital learning and eLearning development processes.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, project-based environment.
