Role Description The Information Technology Executive role is a full time, on-site position based at The Wave International in Jamshedpur. This role is responsible for overseeing daily IT operations, including maintaining hardware, software, and hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, and networking infrastructure.

The Information Technology

Executive will monitor system performance, ensure data security and backups, manage user access, and coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related issues. Daily tasks include providing technical support to hotel staff,



resolving IT incidents, performing routine maintenance, and implementing system updates and improvements. The role also involves documenting IT processes, training team members on basic technology use, and supporting technology initiatives that enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Information Technology and hands-on experience in IT Operations within hospitality or similar service environments.

- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose, resolve, and prevent hardware, software, and user-related issues.

- Experience in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and securing local networks, Wi‑Fi, and internet connectivity.

- Knowledge of hotel systems (PMS, POS, access control, surveillance), data backup practices, and basic cybersecurity principles.

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Ability to work on-site, respond promptly to operational requirements, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional hotel teams.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on reliability, confidentiality, and service orientation.
