Job Overview We are looking for a skilled and motivated Information Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring security events, identifying vulnerabilities and threats, investigating incidents, and implementing security controls to protect enterprise systems, applications, networks, and data.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, SIEM tools, endpoint security, and common cybersecurity frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts, logs, and events across networks, endpoints, applications, and cloud environments.
- Analyze and investigate security incidents, suspicious activities, and potential cyber threats.
- Perform security event triage, incident investigation, and root-cause analysis.
- Identify vulnerabilities and coordinate vulnerability assessment and remediation activities.
- Monitor and analyze SIEM alerts and security dashboards.
- Support incident response, containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
- Conduct security assessments and help strengthen existing security controls.
- Review firewall, IDS/IPS, endpoint, authentication, and application security logs.
- Assist with threat detection, threat hunting, and indicators of compromise analysis.
- Support security audits, compliance assessments, and documentation activities.
- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and operational controls.
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, cloud, network, and application teams to resolve security issues.
- Prepare security reports, incident reports, risk assessments, and management dashboards.
- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

- Solid understanding of Information Security and Cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Knowledge of SIEM, SOC operations, security monitoring, and incident response.




- Experience with tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or similar SIEM platforms.
- Understanding of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS.
- Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and security scanning tools.
- Familiarity with endpoint security and EDR solutions.
- Understanding of authentication, access control, IAM, MFA, and privileged access.
- Knowledge of common cyberattack techniques and threat intelligence concepts.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux security.
- Basic scripting knowledge using Python, PowerShell, or Bash is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications Candidates with any of the following certifications will be preferred:

- CompTIA Security+
- CEH
- CySA+
- CISSP
- CISM
- GIAC certifications
- Microsoft Security certifications
- AWS/Azure Security certifications

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications and practical experience will be considered an advantage.
