Role Summary

We are looking for an Indirect Tax Functional & Technical SME with strong Procure to Pay (P2P) and SAP/ERP tax configuration expertise. The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and supporting indirect tax processes across procurement and invoicing transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and configure Indirect Tax (GST/VAT/Sales Tax) determination and calculation logic.
- Support tax configuration across SAP S/4HANA, SAP FI/MM, tax engines, or comparable ERP platforms.
- Ensure tax compliance across Procurement, P2P, Invoicing and Payment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tax calculation and determination issues.
- Translate regulatory and business tax requirements into system configuration and functional solutions.
- Lead/support end-to-end testing and validation of indirect tax scenarios.
- Collaborate with Tax,



Finance, IT, Procurement and Technical teams.
- Document tax logic, configurations, process flows, and design decisions for governance and audit.

Must-Have Skills
- Strong Indirect Tax expertise – GST / VAT / Sales Tax.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FI/MM tax configuration or equivalent ERP tax tools.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or tax engines.
- Strong functional + technical understanding of tax determination and calculation.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working with Finance, Tax and IT teams.

Ideal Candidate Candidates with a combination of Indirect Tax + P2P + SAP FI/MM + Tax Engine configuration experience will be preferred. Strong experience in translating tax regulations into ERP/system solutions is essential.
