About The Chaap House by Venero The Chaap House by Venero is a growing food and beverage concept specializing in chaap, wraps, Indian comfort food, coffee, hot chocolate, and beverages.

We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Indian Chef to join our kitchen team and help us maintain consistent food quality as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook Indian food and chaap-based dishes according to standardized recipes and portion specifications.
- Handle daily food preparation, marination, cooking, plating, and order execution.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, presentation, and quality.
- Manage the hot kitchen section efficiently during busy service hours.
- Ensure ingredients are properly stored, prepared, and used efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Monitor ingredient usage and communicate stock requirements to the management.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
- Work efficiently during high-volume service and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Follow recipes and instructions accurately while maintaining consistency.
- Assist with preparation and testing of new menu items when required.
- Keep the kitchen workstation organized and ready for service.




- Coordinate with the service team to ensure orders are completed and dispatched on time.

Requirements

- Previous experience working as an Indian Chef / Commis Chef / Line Cook in a restaurant, café, cloud kitchen, or similar food-service environment.
- Good knowledge of Indian cooking techniques.
- Experience with chaap, tandoori-style preparations, gravies, wraps, and Indian snacks is preferred.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently during peak hours.
- Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and maintain consistency.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and disciplined.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, growing food business.
