Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle OIC implementation and production support projects.
The candidate should have strong practical experience in OIC integration development, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Visual Builder/VBS Pages, Page Definitions, PaaS/ATP Database, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration orchestration.
The role will involve designing, developing, testing, deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting integrations across Oracle Fusion and third-party applications, along with participation in client discussions and technical solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- - Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations.
- Develop complex orchestrated integrations using OIC, including synchronous and asynchronous integrations.
- Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, ERP, HCM, FTP/SFTP, and other OIC adapters.
- Integrate Oracle Fusion Cloud with third-party applications.
- Develop integration mappings, transformations, validations, branching, looping, enrichment, and exception-handling logic.
- Configure and maintain OIC connections, lookups, schedules, integrations, and security configurations.
- Troubleshoot integration failures and perform root-cause analysis for production and non-production issues.
- Monitor OIC integrations and analyze activity streams, payloads, errors, and tracking information.
- Work on Visual Builder / VBS Pages, including:
- Development and enhancement of VBS applications/pages.
- Creation and modification of New Page Definitions.
- Integration of VBS pages with backend REST APIs and services.
- Data handling and validations within VBS applications.
- Work with PaaS Database / Oracle ATP for staging, data processing, lookups, and integration-related requirements.
- Participate in integration implementation, enhancements, migrations, testing, and production support.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, mapping documents, deployment checklists, and support documentation.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
- Participate in client calls, requirement discussions, technical walkthroughs, and issue-resolution meetings.
- Follow development standards, code review processes, deployment procedures, and integration governance.
Required Technical Skills – Must Have
- - 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Strong experience in OIC implementation and production support.
- Valuable understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud and Fusion REST/SOAP APIs.
- Hands-on experience with:
- REST and SOAP APIs
- Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM/SCM adapters
- FTP/SFTP
- Scheduled and event-based integrations
- Orchestrated integrations
- Lookups and connections
- Data mapping and transformation
- Error handling and fault management
- Integration monitoring and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with Visual Builder / VBS Pages.
- Experience with New Page Definition and VBS page customization/development.
- Good understanding of PaaS Database / Oracle ATP and its use in integration solutions.
- Understanding of different integration patterns and orchestration techniques.
- Experience working on both implementation and L2/L3 production support projects.
- Ability to independently analyze and troubleshoot integration issues.
Good to Have
- - Knowledge of Java and Java-based integration solutions.
- Experience with Java services/components used as part of integration solutions.
- Knowledge of BIP Reports, FBDI, ESS Jobs, and Fusion data extraction mechanisms.
- Experience with PGP encryption/decryption and secure file transfers.
- Knowledge of Oracle Redwood and Visual Builder modernization.
- Experience with OIC environment migration and deployment activities.
- Understanding of CI/CD and source-control practices.
- Exposure to integration performance optimization.
