Role Description The IGCSE English Teacher role at OZI Tutors is an on-site position based in Noida. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging IGCSE English lessons, covering literature, language, reading, writing, and critical analysis in alignment with Cambridge IGCSE standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching small groups or one-to-one sessions, assigning and assessing classwork and homework, and providing detailed feedback to support concept clarity and skill development.

The teacher will track student progress through assessments, maintain academic records,



and collaborate with mentors and academic coordinators to adjust teaching strategies to individual learning needs. Additional tasks include participating in academic reviews, supporting exam preparation, and contributing to curriculum refinement and teaching resources.

Qualifications

- Robust command of English language and literature, with proven ability to teach reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and critical thinking at IGCSE level.
- Demonstrated experience teaching IGCSE or similar international curricula (Cambridge, IB, ICSE), including familiarity with exam patterns, assessment criteria, and academic rigor.
- Skill in lesson planning, classroom management, and use of varied teaching methodologies to support diverse learning styles and levels.
- Ability to provide individualized academic support, constructive feedback, and mentorship to help learners improve performance and confidence.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for lesson delivery, assignments, and progress tracking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered, patient, and inclusive teaching approach.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or teaching certification is an advantage.
