Role & responsibilities
Application Managed Services
- Provide functional and application support for IFS Cloud EAM and related utility solutions.
- Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and enhancement requests through defined support processes.
- Analyze root causes, identify recurring issues, and recommend sustainable solutions.
- Support release readiness, regression testing, defect resolution, and production deployments.
- Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, operating procedures, and issue-resolution playbooks.
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, security, environments, and performance-related issues.
IFS Cloud EAM and Maintenance
- Configure and support IFS Cloud EAM capabilities across the asset lifecycle, including asset structures, locations, equipment, work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and failure reporting.
- Support preventive, corrective, predictive, and condition-based maintenance processes.
- Translate utility maintenance requirements into scalable IFS Cloud configurations and process improvements.
- Support maintenance planning, work execution, materials coordination, technician reporting, and work-order closure.
- Advise clients on asset hierarchy, functional objects, maintenance organizations, work types, priorities, and reporting structures.
Utilities and Field Operations
- Support utility-specific processes such as emergency response, outage-related work, inspections, vegetation management, service restoration, and scheduled field maintenance.
- Understand the operational needs of field technicians, dispatchers, planners, maintenance supervisors, and asset managers.
- Support integration between IFS EAM, PSO, mobile workforce capabilities, GIS, customer systems, and other enterprise applications(SAP and MS Dynamics Navision-for AmeriGas).
Planning & Scheduling Optimization
- Configure, support, and troubleshoot IFS PSO processes for resource planning, scheduling, dispatch, and field-service execution.
- Define and maintain scheduling rules, skills, qualifications, territories, calendars, priorities, travel considerations, and resource constraints.
- Support intelligent work allocation based on technician skills, availability, location, tools, materials, and job requirements.
- Re-plan work in response to emergencies, weather events, priority changes, resource constraints, or operational disruptions.
- Monitor scheduling effectiveness and recommend improvements to utilization, travel time, schedule adherence, and first-time fix performance.
- Support scenario modeling and capacity planning for future workforce and resource requirements.
Lobby Creation and Operational Reporting
- Design and configure role-based IFS Lobbies for maintenance managers, planners, dispatchers, supervisors, technicians, and support teams.
- Create KPI-driven dashboards displaying work-order status, backlog, maintenance progress, asset performance, technician workload, and data-quality exceptions.
- Configure lobby elements, filters, visualizations, navigation links, and security access based on user roles.
Data Migration and Data Quality
- Lead or support migration of asset, location, equipment, maintenance, inventory, workforce, supplier, and transactional data into IFS Cloud.
- Define migration requirements, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, validation criteria, and reconciliation procedures.
- Coordinate data extraction, cleansing, enrichment, transformation, mock loads, testing, defect resolution, and cutover activities.
- Validate asset hierarchies, functional objects, maintenance plans, work history, spare parts, units of measure, and reference data.
