Deccan Springs Global School is seeking an experienced and dedicated ICT Teacher who can effectively deliver computer education, manage practical lab sessions, and integrate technology into teaching. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, classroom management skills, and experience in handling ICT curriculum.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Instruction

- Teach ICT as per CBSE curriculum and school academic guidelines.
- Conduct theory and practical sessions in the computer lab.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, and practical assignments.
- Teach core ICT skills including:
- Computer fundamentals
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Internet and email usage
- Basics of coding (Python/Java/C/C++ preferred)

Lab & Technical Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain the computer lab.
- Assist in minor troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
- Ensure systems and lab equipment are functioning for classes.
- Maintain digital resources and software installations as required.

Academic Responsibilities

- Prepare and evaluate assessments, projects, assignments, and practical exams.
- Maintain student performance records and documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus and academic tasks.

Student Support

- Provide remedial classes for students who need additional assistance.
- Encourage students to participate in ICT-related activities,



competitions, and projects.
- Promote digital literacy, cyber safety, and responsible technology usage.

School Responsibilities

- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and academic planning.
- Collaborate with other teachers for technology-integrated learning.
- Uphold school discipline, policies, and professional expectations.
- Support school events, PTMs, and administrative needs when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- B.Ed preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates.
- Experience as an ICT teacher in a CBSE school is strongly preferred.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in digital tools.
- Valuable communication and classroom management skills.
