Role Description The Human Resources Director at HCR will lead the HR function, overseeing HR strategy, policy development, and implementation to support organizational goals. This full-time, in office role based in Kolkata includes managing employee relations, performance management processes, and adherence to labor and employment laws.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Human Resources (HR) management and HR Policies, with the ability to design and implement effective HR frameworks.
- Strong skills in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, stakeholder communication, and promoting a positive workplace environment.
- Proficiency in Performance Management, including goal setting, appraisal processes, and supporting employee development.
- Solid understanding of Labor and Employment Law, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and minimizing organizational risk.
- Proven experience in an HR leadership role, preferably in infrastructure, construction, or related industries.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with experience using HR metrics and data for strategic planning.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
