HR & Talent Acquisition Manager — OnsiteAbout the RoleWe are looking for a sharp, hands-on HR & Talent Acquisition Manager to own recruiting and day-to-day people and office administration at our firm.

This is an onsite role suited to someone who is highly organized, proactive, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, and capable of identifying and attracting exceptional talent. A major part of the role will be hiring for technical and business positions, so we strongly prefer candidates who have recruited for HFT / quantitative trading firms, top-tier technology companies, or similarly demanding engineering organizations.

The ideal candidate understands how to assess high-caliber talent, can independently drive searches from sourcing through closing, and is equally comfortable handling the operational side of HR and office administration.

Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Recruiting

- Own the end-to-end recruitment process, from understanding hiring requirements to sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding.
- Proactively source high-quality candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, recruiting platforms, professional networks, universities, and direct outreach.
- Recruit for roles across software engineering, quantitative research/trading, infrastructure, operations, and business functions, depending on company requirements.




- Build and maintain a solid pipeline of candidates rather than relying solely on inbound applications.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective recruiting strategies.
- Manage candidate communication and ensure a professional, responsive candidate experience throughout the interview process.
- Track recruiting funnels, turnaround times, offer acceptance rates, and other relevant hiring metrics.
- Build relationships with recruiting agencies, universities, and other talent sources where appropriate.
- Help strengthen the firm's employer brand and recruiting presence.

HR & People Operations
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records, documentation, leave records, attendance, and other HR-related information.
- Coordinate employment documentation, background verification, benefits administration, and other HR processes.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and internal processes.
- Act as a point of contact for employees on routine HR and administrative matters.
- Help organize employee engagement activities, company events, and other team initiatives.

Office Administration
- Ensure the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers and manage office-related purchases and requirements.
- Oversee office supplies, facilities, equipment, access, and general workplace administration.
- Coordinate travel, meetings, logistics, and other administrative requirements when needed.
- Identify operational issues proactively and take ownership of resolving them.

What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, HR,



or people operations.
- Strong preference for candidates with recruiting experience at or for:
- HFT / proprietary trading / quantitative trading firms
- Hedge funds or other highly technical financial firms
- Leading technology companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, or comparable engineering-led organizations
- High-growth technology startups with demanding technical hiring requirements
- Demonstrated ability to source and close strong technical candidates.
- Good understanding of technology and engineering roles; familiarity with quantitative or trading roles is a significant advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High degree of ownership, discretion, and reliability.
- Comfortable working independently and handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Resourceful and willing to handle both strategic recruiting work and hands-on administrative responsibilities.
- Comfortable working onsite from the office.

Preferred Background
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition.
- Experience recruiting software engineers, quantitative researchers, traders, or other highly technical candidates.
- Existing networks within HFT, quantitative finance, or top-tier technology companies are a strong advantage.
- Experience working in a smaller, high-performance organization where employees are expected to take broad ownership.
