Position Summary The incumbent is responsible for providing end-to-end HR support to line managers and local HR teams across a broad range of transactional HR activities, including staffing, benefits and leave administration, learning and development, and HR program operations. The role partners closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of HR processes, while continuously reviewing and improving existing processes to enhance operational efficiency. A key focus of the role is to deliver consistent, high-quality service through strong customer orientation, process discipline, and a commitment to service delivery excellence.

At Lam, as an HR Representative, you are a versatile generalist in human resources. Your role is vital in covering a range of HR activities, from recruiting to counseling employees on work-related items, and supporting Lam's diversity initiatives. Your contributions will support compensation, benefits, performance management, and personnel policies. Your breadth in HR processes and commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace will help shape Lam's vibrant and diverse culture.

What You’ll Do

Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests, and partner with business functions as a subject matter expert on HR policies, processes, and procedures.

Provide guidance and support to users on Lam HR systems, including Employee Connect and Career Connect. Administer employee lifecycle transactions, including but not limited to onboarding, personal and organizational data changes, employee probation confirmations, transfers, and offboarding, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data integrity through regular audits.

Manage the full employee lifecycle, including end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes. Responsibilities include coordinating pre-hire logistics, preparing the New Hire Getting Started Guide, welcoming new hires on Day 1, coordinating New Employee Orientation, and supporting offboarding logistics.

Provide end-to-end Learning and Development operations support, including maintaining and updating training records to ensure data completeness and accuracy.



Coordinate in-house and ad hoc training requests and provide on-site training logistics support as required.

Provide End-to-end Operational Support In The Following Areas

Benefits and leave enrollment and administration, including maintaining accurate employee benefits information in third-party systems and ensuring timely claims processing and payment.

Employee insurance enrollment and administration, including claims follow-up and processing.

Time and attendance administration, including timely processing and calculation of various allowance, shift, and on call payments.

Provide timely and accurate inputs to support payroll processing, including gratuity payment processing.

Maintain accurate, consistent, and compliant HR Shared Services records, including the upkeep of information in local HR information systems.

Ensure compliance with applicable Indian labor laws and statutory regulations, including the Shops & Establishments Act,

Payment of Wages Act, PF, ESI, Gratuity, Maternity Benefit Act, and other employment-related legislation.

Support internal and external audit activities, including data audits and documentation reviews. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure HR processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with defined service standards.

Prepare HR reports and analysis using data from multiple sources to support operational insights and decision-making.Manage employment verification requests in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner.

Participate in process changes and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

Who We’re Looking For

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Working knowledge of SuccessFactors will be an advantage.

Knowledge of local compliance regulations and statutory requirements





Strong team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Independent, meticulous, and well-organized, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.

Exposure to local labor law and HR compliance requirements.

Demonstrates sound judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s in Business Administration or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or equivalent with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience managing a broad range of human resources activities

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week in office at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
