About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, recruitment coordination, employee engagement, documentation, and other people-related initiatives.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing multiple HR activities simultaneously,
and interacting with employees and stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities across multiple roles.
- Source and screen candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain regular communication with candidates.
- Manage candidate trackers and ensure recruitment data is up to date.
- Support offer rollouts, pre-joining coordination, and onboarding activities.
- Coordinate with managers to understand requirements and ensure timely closures.
HR Operations
- Maintain and update employee records, HR documentation, and trackers.
- Support employee onboarding and exit formalities.
- Coordinate documentation, background verification, and other joining formalities.
- Maintain HR policies, SOPs, templates, and employee-related records.
- Assist with leave, timesheet, and other HR administration activities.
- Support HR-related coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, team events, and virtual initiatives.
- Support employee communication and HR announcements.
- Assist in conducting employee feedback and engagement initiatives.
- Help create a positive and engaging remote-work culture.
HR Support & Reporting
- Prepare regular HR reports and maintain accurate HR data.
- Support performance management
- Assist with HR audits, documentation, and compliance-related activities.
- Handle employee queries and escalate sensitive or complex matters when required.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in HR, preferably with exposure to both recruitment and HR operations.
- Good understanding of basic HR processes and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Strong proficiency in MS office tools and other HR tools.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Good to Have
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced workplace.
- Experience with HRMS platforms such as Keka
- Exposure to employee engagement and culture initiatives.
- Experience coordinating with recruitment agencies or external hiring partners.
