Our guests come primarily from Germany, Europe, and increasingly from India.

Purpose of the Role

Supervise day-to-day housekeeping operations across guest villas/rooms, treatment areas, public spaces, and back-of-house, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards that match the expectations of long-stay international Ayurveda guests (typical stays of 2–4 weeks).

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Quality

- Plan and assign daily room and public-area cleaning schedules; adjust for arrivals, departures, and long-stay servicing cycles
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, verandas, treatment rooms, restaurant, yoga hall, and pool/beach areas against checklists
- Ensure special hygiene standards in and around Ayurveda treatment areas (oil stains, linen turnover, therapy room resets) in coordination with the treatment team
- Oversee turndown service, linen and laundry flow, and timely response to guest housekeeping requests
- Manage lost-and-found procedures

Team Supervision

- Supervise, train, and roster housekeeping attendants and public-area staff
- Conduct on-the-job training on cleaning chemicals, equipment, grooming,



and guest interaction (many guests are German/European; basic courteous English required of the team)
- Monitor attendance, performance, and discipline; report to Executive Housekeeper/GM

Inventory & Cost Control

- Maintain par stocks of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies; raise indents and track consumption
- Control chemical usage and equipment maintenance; log breakage and damage
- Coordinate with maintenance for repairs identified during inspections

Compliance & Safety

- Enforce safety procedures for chemical handling and equipment use
- Support pest-control schedules and monsoon-season upkeep (mould, dampness, garden-facing rooms)
- Maintain records for audits and statutory hygiene requirements

Candidate Profile

- 5–7 years housekeeping experience in a resort or 4/5-star hotel, of which at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
- Diploma/degree in Hotel Management or equivalent preferred
- Working knowledge of housekeeping software / PMS entries; basic Excel
- Languages: Malayalam and functional English essential; Hindi an advantage
- Robust eye for detail, calm guest-facing manner, able to lead a team of 15-20
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and peak season (October–March)

- Salary commensurate with experience (band as per resort HR policy)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
