About the Role
This is a broad, hands-on role on a small team — not a narrow pipeline-maintenance position. You will wear multiple hats: building and managing data infrastructure, writing production Python code for data science workflows, and implementing algorithms that sit at the core of our optimization engine.
If you are someone who is equally comfortable writing a complex SQL query, cleaning a messy dataset, and implementing a graph-based algorithm in Python — and you want to grow fast in a technically ambitious environment — this role is built for you.
What You’ll Do
- Build, manage, and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines to reliably ingest, transform, and deliver data across systems.
- Write complex, optimized SQL against PostgreSQL — joins, window functions, CTEs, indexing strategy, and query plan analysis.
- Write production-quality Python for data processing, cleansing, statistical analysis, and exploratory data work.
- Implement data science and algorithm code — including graph-based algorithms, mathematical optimization models, and operations research routines.
- Manage database schema versioning and migrations using Liquibase.
- Own data quality and integrity end-to-end — from raw ingestion to the outputs consumed by algorithms and analysts.
- Work closely with a small, cross-functional team — contributing across data engineering, data science,
and algorithm development as needed.

SQL

Design and manage end-to-end data ingestion and transformation workflows

Implement data science and algorithmic logic in clean, maintainable Python

Strong analytical thinking; comfort with ambiguous, data-heavy problems

What We’re Looking For
Fresh graduate to 4 years of relevant experience — fundamentals and drive to learn matter most.
Strong SQL — comfortable writing and debugging complex queries, not just basic SELECTs.
Solid Python skills for data-centric work — structured, readable, maintainable code.
Willingness to work beyond a defined lane — on a small team, you will contribute to data science and algorithm implementation, not just pipelines.
Intellectual curiosity about optimization, graph theory, and quantitative methods — academic exposure counts.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Based in or willing to relocate to Mysuru; this is a full-time on-site role.
