Roles and Responsibilities :

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including project cost tracking, asset capitalization, and revenue recognition.
- Review Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable standards (Ind AS).
- Supervise month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Manage general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial audits.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors and internal auditors.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Lead budgeting processes, including cost estimation, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
- Monitor financial performance against KPIs and review the actionable insights.

Compliance and Risk Management

- Ensure compliance with energy sector regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards
- Implement and review internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
- Manage tax planning and assessments.
- Liaise with tax authorities and consultants.

Investor & Stakeholder Reporting

- Review of financial reports and presentations for investors, board members, and regulatory bodies.
- Support due diligence and financial disclosures for fundraising

ERP & Systems Implementation

- Lead implementation of financial systems and tools to support scalability and automation.
- Integrate project management and finance systems for real-time tracking.





Treasury & Cash Flow Management

- Manage cash flow planning and optimize working capital.
- Oversee banking relationships, fund management, and debt servicing.
- Monitor receivables and payables, especially for large infrastructure contracts.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

- Implement and monitor robust internal financial controls.
- Identify financial risks related to projects and operations.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards.

MIS & Stakeholder Reporting

- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Provide financial insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Support board presentations and investor reporting (if applicable).

Job Requirements :

Education: Chartered Accountancy (CA) is mandatory.

Experience:

o 8 to 12 years of experience, primarily in the power transmission sector o Prior experience in Power, Infrastructure, EPC, or Transmission sector preferred o Should managed end to end Finance function

Skills and Competencies:

o Strong commercial capabilities o Strong contract management and governance o Hands-on and details oriented o Understands project costing o Customer contracts and claims management o Understanding of indirect taxation and its impact on costing o Positive at stakeholder management with vendors and suppliers
