Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Health Insurance Agent role based in Rajnandgaon.

The Health Insurance

Agent will educate prospective and existing customers on health insurance products, including chronic care and wellness-focused plans, and help them choose coverage suited to their needs and budgets. Daily responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting consultations in person or by phone, explaining policy terms and advantages, and assisting customers with proposal forms, documentation, and policy issuance.



The role involves maintaining strong relationships with policyholders, supporting claim-related queries, and adhering to regulatory and company compliance standards.

The agent will collaborate with internal teams, report sales activities, and contribute to meeting individual and branch sales targets while promoting ABHICL’s wellness-focused offerings.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Health Insurance and general Insurance products, with the ability to explain coverage, exclusions, and benefits clearly.
- Experience or familiarity with Insurance Brokerage, including working with multiple products or channels to serve diverse customer needs.
- Understanding of Medicare or similar health schemes and public or private health programs relevant to the Indian market.
- Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal explanation, and professional written communication.
- Proven sales or customer service experience in insurance, financial services, or healthcare is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with digitized processes, including using CRM tools, online proposal and claims systems, and basic office software.
- Ability to work on-site in Rajnandgaon, manage time effectively, and meet individual and team performance targets.
- Minimum education: graduate degree in any discipline; additional certifications in insurance or health-related fields are an advantage.
