Purpose/Objective

To spearhead and oversee the development of transmission businesses, aiming for profit growth and strengthen client relationships.

Leverage expertise in power systems, grid integration, and utility regulations to deliver compliant and valuedriven proposals.

Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project conversion, approvals, and execution handover.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Principal Accountabilities Role & Responsibilities Pursue new/upcoming opportunities to enhance the product/service offerings of transmission business and deliver incremental revenue and profit.

Oversee and review power system studies to support technocommercial proposals.

Lead electrical system planning discussions with customers, translating technical requirements into commercially viable solutions.

Manage connectivity applications and necessary coordination for grid interconnection requirements.

Drive business development initiatives for electrical infrastructure and gridconnected projects across utilities, EPCs, and industrial customers.

Engage with customers to present optimized technical solutions, address queries, and secure technical and commercial approvals.

Developing networks and clusters as appropriate including relevant government agencies, overseas agents, trade development agencies, tertiary, local authorities and community and business groups relating to business.

Partner with relevant authorities/officers/bodies/stakeholders to grow the company, strengthen it and ensure its sustainability.





Keep track of various regulatory changes which directly or indirectly affect the market.

Liaise with CTU / STU authorities to facilitate regulatory approvals, grid connectivity clearances, and compliance submissions.

Maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, threats etc.

Review site surveys, preparation of BoQ, cost estimations, and project feasibility inputs in collaboration with engineering teams.

Manage RPT documentation, including technical offers, price justifications, revisions, and cost adjustment approvals.

Carry out Competitor Analysis, new project risk-return analysis, identifies risks and ensures appropriate strategies are in place.

Build and develop capabilities in the team by strengthening meritocracy, providing learning opportunity and effective feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in engineering / master’s degree would be an advantage.

Experiences: - Strong knowledge about Regulatory aspects, Electricity Act, guidelines of CERC, electricity board practices, GNA and technical planning & power system studies (Transmission and Substation) 12 to 15 years in the domain of Power Sector Robust network within the power industry- Have proven track record in scaling business.

-Positive, self-starter who can work independently with a hands-on execution style
