About the Role

As Head - Quality, Regulatory & Compliance for Reliance Retail's Fashion & Lifestyle Exports business, you will own product quality, factory compliance and regulatory market access across the organisation's vendor base. Reporting to the Head - Fashion & Lifestyle Exports, you will establish the quality systems and factory compliance programmes that keep the export supply base buyer-ready.

You will manage product registrations and destination-market regulatory approvals - across cosmetics, apparel and footwear - along with labelling compliance, tracking approval status and regulatory risk market by market. You will own corrective action programmes and factory audit governance, working closely with Sourcing & India Supply Base to embed buyer Code of Conduct and sustainability requirements across every factory in the network.

You will also support the organisation's ESG framework, including sustainability reporting and retailer scorecards, and establish governance standards for quality claims and buyer dispute resolution in coordination with Supply Chain & Trade Compliance. You will represent the F&L; organisation in front of group-level ESG, Compliance & Sustainability, and FTA/Trade Policy functions - ensuring the business stays ahead of regulatory and buyer expectations across every market it serves.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage product registrations and destination-market regulatory approvals (cosmetics, apparel, footwear) and labelling compliance
- Track market-by-market approval status and regulatory risk
- Support ESG framework implementation, including sustainability reporting and retailer scorecards
- Establish governance standards for quality claims, chargebacks and buyer dispute resolution
- Align organisation-level compliance with group ESG, Compliance & Sustainability and FTA/Trade Policy functions

Job Specification / Candidate Requirements
- 12-16 years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory affairs or compliance within apparel, textiles, beauty/cosmetics or footwear export industries
- Degree in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs or a related technical discipline; certifications in quality or regulatory systems preferred
- Experience with factory audits, buyer Code of Conduct standards, and multi-market regulatory registrations
- Exposure to ESG and sustainability compliance frameworks is preferred
