Purpose/Objective The Head - PMAG-Tx is responsible for driving strategic project monitoring and governance to ensure the successful execution of transmission projects.

This role focuses on tracking key business milestones, reviewing project performance across the entire Project Life Cycle (PLC), and generating exception reports to facilitate management interventions.

By analyzing Project MIS, leveraging advanced project management techniques, and conducting structured project review meetings, the role ensures proactive issue resolution and alignment with business objectives.

Additionally, it identifies and escalates critical project concerns to senior management, enabling timely decision-making and enhanced project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Head - PMAG-Tx Regulatory & Strategic Advocacy: Advance business interests by engaging with MoP, MoEF, CEA, PGCIL, and CTU in coordination with Corporate Affairs, ensuring regulatory decisions favor Adani’s energy cluster.

Strengthen industry influence by proactively addressing policy developments, regulatory challenges, and transmission-related approvals with key stakeholders.

Project Technical & Contractual Optimization: Enhance project competitiveness by refining technical specifications, contract policies, and procurement strategies to align with market benchmarks and vendor expectations.

Optimize contract execution by collaborating with functional teams to improve bidding strategies and standardize contract procedures.

Process Improvement & Workflow Optimization: Drive operational efficiency by identifying process gaps, streamlining workflows, and implementing data-driven improvements in coordination with leadership.

Improve decision-making by developing structured frameworks for data collection, validation, and reporting.

Project Monitoring & Risk Identification: Ensure project success by reviewing DPRs,



engaging in daily interactions with project teams, and escalating critical risks to the CEO for timely intervention.

Strengthen risk management by proactively analyzing deviations, identifying corrective actions, and implementing mitigation strategies in coordination with project teams.

Stakeholder & Partner Relationship Management: Foster strategic partnerships by maintaining solid relationships with key partners, ensuring seamless collaboration, and unlocking new business opportunities.

Align project objectives by organizing regular progress review meetings, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring alignment on action plans.

Digital Transformation & Project Progress Tracking: Enhance digital project oversight by driving the adoption of digital platforms, ensuring real-time project tracking, and leading digital improvement initiatives with CPAG and IT teams.

Enable data-driven execution by ensuring timely updates on digital dashboards, providing top management with actionable project insights.

Regulatory & Competitive Benchmarking for Transmission Projects: Strengthen industry positioning by tracking the physical progress of competing developers and resource availability in Khavda evacuation-related projects.

Facilitate regulatory support by preparing intervention notes for MoP, CEA, and CTUIL to ensure favorable resolutions.

Financial Planning & Capital Optimization: Ensure funding alignment by prioritizing equity-related payment proposals,



coordinating with finance teams, and securing timely disbursements to maintain project momentum.

Optimize CAPEX utilization by reallocating costly equipment to high-priority projects and minimizing IDC exposure in externally delayed projects.

Team Management: Develop a high-performing team by mentoring, upskilling, and providing strategic direction to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Foster collaboration by promoting knowledge sharing, cross-functional coordination, and proactive problem-solving across teams.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: BE / B.

Tech.

– Electrical + MBA or equivalent management certification.

Work Experience (Range of years): Min 18-20 years of Experience in Erection/Commissioning/Project Management of infra projects (Transmission lines & Substation Projects).

Should have Min 8 years of experience in Site Project Management/ Project execution.

PMP or equivalent project management related certification course will have added advantage.

Should have knowledge of various Project Management tools such as Primavera (P6), MS Projects, as well as knowledge of Advance Excel, Power BI tools for planning & analysis.

Should have experience in Project Management/Contract Management/Construction Management of multiple projects.

Know-how of Engineering & Design Aspects, regulatory aspects and F&A; aspects of project planning.
